Debbi Migit and her husband Phil, have been married over thirty years.  After ten years of infertility, God showed them that adoption was His plan for their family. Debbi and Phil are now the proud parents of Alex Paul, age 20, Ethan Joseph, age 9, and Katelynn Shay, age 8.

Debbi has been published in newspapers and magazines such as Reader's Digest and Wee Wisdom, among others. Her short stories have won several writing contests and awards. Child of Promise is her first book.

Debbi is available to speak to adoption groups, women's groups, or any gathering where people are longing to hear a word of faith and a testimony of God's miraculous ways. Through transparency, compassion and humor, Debbi shares how to trust God's faithfulness in every circumstance.

The Migit family lives in Central Illinois, surrounded by cornfields, soybeans and pumpkins.  They are active in their local church, where Phil is a worship leader and Debbi is involved with the Mom’s Ministry.  They also operate their own business, Dealer’s Collision Repair.

Debbi has published numerous articles and short stories, and won several writing contests.  Child of Promise is her first book, and she is now working on a young adult novel.
