Debbi Migit and her husband Phil, have been married for twenty-nine years.  After ten years of infertility, God showed them that adoption was His plan for their family. Debbi and Phil are now the proud parents of Alex Paul, age 18, Ethan Joseph, age 7, and Katelynn Shay, age 6.

The Migit family lives in Central Illinois, surrounded by cornfields, soybeans and pumpkins.  They are active in their local church, where Phil is a worship leader and Debbi is involved with the Mom’s Ministry.  They also operate their own business, Dealer’s Collision Repair.  Most Saturdays they can be found cheering for Alex as he runs hurdles and prepares for the State finals and his dream of making the Olympic team.

Debbi has published numerous articles and short stories, and won several writing contests.  Child of Promise is her first book, and she is now working on a young adult novel.
